James F. "Ace" Adams IV (born c. 1929〔(Adams To Coach Army Lacrosse ), ''The Baltimore Sun'', February 12, 1958.〕) is an American former lacrosse coach. He served as the head coach at the United States Military Academy, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Virginia. He was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1975. ==Early life and college== Adams attended St. Paul's School in Brooklandville, Maryland, where he was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity lacrosse team.〔(James F.
